Yes, Cheri, more screen caps. I'm enjoying these so much. Especially since I haven't gotten my new dvd's yet. Still waiting, although I can't say patiently. Any possibility you can make an avatar from one of these for me. Of course I haven't decided which one yet. Maybe something with Mark and Teddy would be sweet.

Hey, Karie, I'm keeping the faith that today will be your day! And as for the avatar, no problem. If you want one of the pics that's posted already, just tell me which one, and I'll send you the link (which is all you need to stick in your profile). If there's a particular scene you decide on, tell me that, and I'll snag it and then get you a link. And, oh yeah; there will definitely be more caps, probably Wednesday night or Thursday. I should start with RT, I suppose, but I may not be that organized about it.

And, hey, Cheri, can we hope for some screen caps from other episodes? You'll get way much karma from me. Oh, absolutely. My fingers are beginning to itch, so it won't be long now.

Well, I got mine today (in Georgia)! And, boy oh boy, is it nice. Very nice picture quality, packaging, and booklet with this set. However, I agree with the review from the guy at www.tvshowsondvd.com regarding the menus; they are too loud and "busy". But this is minor, of course (and can be remedied by just muting the menus). Overall, I am VERY pleased! VEI (with whom I was very unfamiliar) has done a good job, especially considering it is not a "big name" company like Paramount, Fox, etc. I look forward to reading everyone's comments as the sets are received.

Yep, I agree. I wasn't sure what to expect from what I would consider an "unknown quantity" of a company, but they did a really nice job. And, yeah, the menus are a little loud, but the only thing I'd really like to see changed for the next seasons would be the addition of "extras". Of course, I'm sure that adds to the length of production, and, of course, increases the price-- maybe even fairly substantially, depending on what is included. But, as I've already said, I'll pay just about any price.

Hi folks,
Long-time listener, first-time caller.;D I got mine on Wednesday (would've been Tuesday if the mailman had only checked to see if I was HERE instead of just dropping off the "pick up a package at the post office" card) and am on disc 2 right now. Ahh, fond memories. This is one of those sets I'd never have thought would make it to DVD, but I'm glad to be proven wrong. Until getting this set, the only copy of "Rolling Thunder" I'd had was a third- or fourth-gen copy from the original airing. THIS was much better. I'm off again today, so I'll be watching more episodes shortly. Can't wait!

Did anyone notice that the main titles in the opening credits are a little different on the DVDs? Wasn't Daniel Hugh Kelly credited as Daniel Hugh-Kelly in the first and second seasons? (Correct me if I'm wrong about the second season. My memory may be failing me, but I think the hyphen came out in the third season. Is that right?)

Yeah, I've noticed that and appreciate it! I thought it was fixed in 2nd season, though. And don't the credits look a little, um . . . fluorescent? They're still white, but they almost glow. Or maybe it's these old, tired eyes!

Evening all!
Has anyone visited Amazon.ca since they purchased their season one sets? I ask this as nine reviews (probably from us lot, well one is mine!!) have been left for the season one set, with eight of the nine reviewers awarding the maximum of five stars.
If you haven't visited recently it may be worth a read.
