Mine has shipped and so has L.M.'s. Now the suspense has really ratcheted up. I may be chewing my toenails next! (Okay, so I really can't do that anymore. It's a figure of speech!)

my order shipped today aswell via dhl express. on dhl website it says scheduled for delivery tomorrow. i wonder if we have to be home to sign for this or not anyone know ? I checked with DHL, and they do require a signature for delivery. However, they said if no one will be available to accept the package, you can leave a signed note, and they will leave it.

Mine is out for delivery and i took the day off. Now it's just a matter of waiting for dhl to show up and then let the hardcastle & mccormick marathon commence!!
Well DHL just delivered my set, I did have to sign for package afterall incase anyone was wondering. It's a pretty nice looking package there is even a booklet listing episodes and whatnot that i didn't expect. Heck even alot of the big studios have dropped inserts/booklets. Time to fire up disc 1 and Drive!

Oh, sure you took the day off just to sign for the package. Hah, we know your ulterior motives ;-) So make yourself a big bowl of popcorn and take full control of the remote. Hey,could you take a break somewhere in the first couple of hours and give us a little general review--picture quality, and does RT have the 'pulled over on the way to Vegas' scene?

HEHE.... Ok i finished watching Rolling Thunder. The scene you asked about is there. Picture Quality is pretty much on par with the a-team, knight rider sets. In the opening credits of RT i noticed some sound distortion for a brief sec. I dunno if it will be in subsequent episodes or not. But overall very enjoyable so far and i am very pleased with the a/v and the best thing is the pilot was uncut.

I've watched the first four eps, and they've been consistently decent quality. One of them (I think Man in a Glass House) seemed to have its audio recorded at a slightly lower level than the rest, but that was a minor thing. And in The Crystal Duck, both McC's and Teddy's hair looked a little too red to me, but again, ain't nothin', when compared to how excellent it is overall to have this set.

Oh, I hope they issue some more -- I'd decided to get myself a spare set! Would it help if we let VEI know that?

Now, I'm no expert in the distribution of DVDs, but maybe amazon.ca didn't order enough initial stock. Perhaps they will acquire another batch from the distributor. Either way...we should make VEI aware that it's in demand!
