"you're a stone red eye hay barren jackass!" M the man in a glass house  Yeah, I love this whole sequence, but I'm always amused by McC alone in the hallway, talking about "smokin' that wacky tobaccy". Makes me laugh every time.

I must say, I LOVE the scene in "Scared Stiff" where the Judge climbs the steps of the Gatehouse loft, singing his jovial little tune, twisting the alarm clock in McCormick's ear to get him up for the trip to the juvenile hall: M: Do you know what time it is? H: It's 6:35, now get out of there, we're going to be late. M: Late for what? H: We gotta go to the juvenile hall and pick up the kids, remember? They're waitin' for us. M: (Pulling the covers over his head as he speaks) No, not that again! Nooo! H: (Hardcastle throws a boot at McCormick...hitting him on his blanket-covered head.) Come on, come on. I thought you liked playing basketball with 'em. You showed 'em all those nice moves. M: I'm just tryin' to keep from getting killed...gettin' kicked in the kidneys. Get OUT of here, you crazy man! H: (Hardcastle yanks at Mark's comforter, ultimately pulling it off of him as he says...) Gettin' physical can be a sign of affection. GET OUTTA THERE! M: Aw, come on Judge...Or, it can be a sign of someone's tryin' to kill ya. Now, leave me alone....Get outta here. I love this scene so much because it's less "formal" - for lack of a better word. Hardcastle's humming and making a funny "alarm clock" sound in Mc's ear as the buzzer goes off. He's tugging at Mc's comforter. His guard is down. The lines that get me are: "Gettin' physical can be a sign of affection." (That speaks volumes to the way Milt operates...And, he sure shows McCormick a lot of affection on the basketball court, doesn't he?) "Get outta here, you crazy man!" is also a more playful line for McCormick. ..."Or, it can be a sign of someone's tryin' to kill ya" cracks me up, too!

...And, at the end of the whole scene, McCormick throws the boot in Hardcastle's direction as he exits. The boot hits the desk and knocks over a picture of the Judge. I think it's too cute (Sorry to use that word, but it fits.) that Mark would have a framed picture of the Judge on his desk. (Ok, the writer/director wanted it there for effect...but it's cute.)

It still kills me whenever I see Mark in those light blue pajamas. I'm sorry, but I just don't see Mark as the pajama type. Sweatpants and a t-shirt, yes. Pajamas, no. Or maybe pajama pants and a t-shirt like he has on in McCormick's Bar and Grill when Sonny breaks into the gatehouse and Mark comes down the stairs to investigate. If I knew how to screen cap, I'd put one of those up here. Sorry, I don't.

Yeah, I agree with you, K. And, here's the cap you're looking for. (Sorry, I couldn't get a better view. Sonny keeps getting in the way.)

Question I have is we're clearly seeing the watch on Mark's right wrist here, leading to the suspicion that he's left-handed. Then a year later, he starts wearing it on the left wrist (like normal people!). Any theories?

Question I have is we're clearly seeing the watch on Mark's right wrist here, leading to the suspicion that he's left-handed. Then a year later, he starts wearing it on the left wrist (like normal people!). Any theories? I'm one of those confused people (not ambidexterous, but not really one hand dominant either), and I don't wear my watch consistently on one wrist. But I used to, back when watches had just one stem for winding and setting (because, even then, I would occasionally put it on wrong and not be able to wind it in place). So, the watch in the picture is digital, can be worn either way, and perhaps he, too, is a confused person. Is the watch he wears later on, on the 'correct' wrist perhaps an analog one with just one stem?

You know, that's a good question. I think I've noticed two different watches (in keeping with fanfic, maybe), but the picture isn't good enough to tell if either is analog. Oh, but when the next sets of DVDs are out, just think of the trivial stuff we can concern our minds with!

On the topic of watches, Mark's watch in RT is a digital which always cracks me up since he says his watch stopped (when he's with Flip). Then he resets it to show to Dalem. Now, in my experience, digital watches only STOP if they are broken or the battery is dead. It's not like you have to wind them. So how does his watch start working again? (LML, I never said I would give up picking nits)
