I absolutely loved this show. It was funny and cute and wholesome and had something for everyone. It had silly little kids (and a silly housekeeper) running around doing some pretty silly stuff, for the younger crowd. It had handsome/attractive teenagers going through teen trauma for the teenage crowd and it had romance and other serious stuff for the adults. And even though the romance was of the married kind, it was just as good and Noah and Jesse were such a great couple, you just loved them. They had their share of problems but always worked them out. My kids loved watching this show. It was one of the only shows I never minded them watching. I didn't have to worry that one of the teenagers on the show would jump into bed with someone else. Not that it wasn't talked about or dealt with, but the show had a strong moral compass and always set a good example. Probably why it didn't stay on longer than 2 years. Heaven forbid, any show have morals these days.

We need some screen caps from this show, if that can be done at all. Please.

Well, I have absolutely zero eps. Karie, can you do caps?

Technological ignoramus, here! Screen caps? I'm still looking for a map for this site, or some other navigational tool. But I do have about a half dozen eps on tape. Couldn't even begin to guess how you might get them on the computer. However, I am more than willing to mail them (yes, snail mail) to some wonderful person who would be willing to do this. But hopefully in kind, they could transfer them to dvd for me. I just wouldn't want to give them up permanently as DHK looks so fine in this show. Oh, so fine! Let me know.

Just so you know. The link above has a summary of the show that has incorrect information. Noah was a writer and Jessie was a veterinarian (not a zookeeper). They adopted 8 children, not 10. And Shirley was their housekeeper (not one of the children) and Jo-Jo was HER grown up son who didn't even come onto the show until late in the second season. Just wanted to clarify.

Karie -- If you're sure you want to trust them to the U.S. Postal Service, I'd be happy to transfer them to DVD for you. It'd be a good idea to get them on disk soon anyway, to stop the deterioration of the picture quality. If you decide to ship them, _please_ insure them! Once they're on DVD, I can send someone with screen cap capability to post here, there and everywhere. But if you decide not to risk it, that's okay, too.
Oh, you know what? You live in a town that might be big enough to have somebody there who transfers video to disk as a business. My brother sent me DVDs that someone had made of all our family's home movies. Try asking at a Radio Shack or your local computer place. That would keep Noah safe from our wonderful postal workers!

Did I mention that I live in a small podunk town in Cow Hampshire (oh, sorry I guess most people know of it as NEW Hampshire) I might be able to get someone to put the six pack down long enough to attempt something like this, but I'd have to find them first. Let me ask at the farm stand on the corner, there's always plenty of folks hanging around there. And he's got a fresh slaughtered pig, I could get me some bacon at the same time.

Oh, no, now stop that. Are we going to have to import the 'don't drink pop while reading the following post' warning over to this board, too? ;-)

See!! I told you all that he looked darn fine in this show. The birthday party ep is one that I have on tape, too. Charles Nelson Reilly is a guest star.
Amy, do you have all the eps? I only have half a dozen. I would love to get my hands on a copy of all of them.

Re: Noah pic, row 2, picture#2--is he still wearing the same mystery medal? It looks a tad smaller but it's hard to tell. I always assumed that it had to be DHK's in H&McC because, heaven knows, nothing else could explain that degree of continuity ;-)

The medal is on him the whole series. It was one thing I always noticed, especially since I had also noticed it in my H and Mc tapes. Definitely DHK's.
