Yeah, we actually found out what they are, didn't we? One's a medal his mom brought back from Lourdes and I can't remember the other but I know they were talked about on a H&McC board somewhere. Doesn't anybody else remember those posts?

Oh, yes, this is ringing bells for me now. I think I have let my own fic get overlaid (heaven knows I trot that medal out on a regular basis--originality be, um, darned) and I had forgotten there was an element of RL here. Oops. (Does look a bit smaller to me, though.)

Did I mention that I live in a small podunk town in Cow Hampshire (oh, sorry I guess most people know of it as NEW Hampshire) I might be able to get someone to put the six pack down long enough to attempt something like this, but I'd have to find them first. Let me ask at the farm stand on the corner, there's always plenty of folks hanging around there. And he's got a fresh slaughtered pig, I could get me some bacon at the same time. Now, here, we mosey on down to the grange, check out the price of feed, kick a few bales of hay and scratch ourselves in unlikely places. Let me know if you need anything copied; I stand willing and ready. Well, sit, actually. All that moseying makes a person tired.

Having seen the pics of the area, I am ready to testify that it looks like you'd have to mosey a spell just to find a cow pattie.

This was a really good show. I'm not big on family shows, never have been, but this was extremely good. Had ABC given it a chance, this could've been a "7th Heaven" and had a similar run.
Haven't seen it since it's original run 10 years ago, tho.
