And there's been quite a spate of activity lately, too, so there's lots of new reading to do.

I'm hoping that the DVD releases will generate a renewed interest in the show.
I get pissed (pardon my French), when people say the car was the star, it was a rip-off of another show, or just dismiss it entirely.
I think alot of people will look at it this time around and see something else..namely the chemistry between Milt and Mark.

Yep, I'm with you; I'm hoping for a giant uprising of fan support once there are DVDs. Of course, I'd feel a little better about that if there were going to be a US release, but, hey, Canada is pretty darn close.

And let's not forget -- the more Season One DVDs they sell, the more incentive to produce Seasons Two and Three. So, let's that fan base organized, eager to buy, and as large as possible!

And, just so everybody knows, lwalker is me, but now I'm logged in "forever" and won't have that problem any more. ( As simple as you can make it,I'll still mess it up somehow!)

I've been reading some fanfic over the last few days. I must say there is a talented bunch of writers in GullsWay! The dialog and characterizations are wonderful. The plots/story lines really grab your attention.

One more thought about the Canadian release -- I'm going to be checking Amazon Canada starting Feb 1 to see if they'll be carrying it. Some of us have tried emailing the company (VIE), but haven't heard back yet about where and how to purchase. Thanks goodness we have some Canadians fans willing to help out just in case.
Anyone wanting to get their name on a list for the DVDs can try Amazon US. Search for a DVD of HC&McC and then sign up to be notified when it comes out. Couldn't hurt!

ffnet is very nice. Michelle's site: www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Bungalow/7691/hmcfic.html has most, if not all, of those, plus 16 fics that are not found elsewhere. She also give's many of the author's e-mails in an easy hyperlink format and organizes the fics in a bunch of subcategories.

Hi My name is khollie and I am new here. I had almost forgotten about this show until I stumbled on fanfic.net and got hooked all over again. I bought the first season DVD and can't wait for the second season.
I have read all the fic on fanfiction.net and at Michelle's Creative Corner. I have a couple of stories posted there myself in another fandom. Are there any more sites with any H&McC fic on them?

Well, as a matter of fact, there's a whole new batch of fics available. Check out the starforbrian site under Fundraising. We welcome any feedback, too! (And don't forget to order your DVDs through our site, from EBay or Amazon.)

I bought the first season DVD and can't wait for the second season. I have read all the fic on fanfiction.net and at Michelle's Creative Corner. I have a couple of stories posted there myself in another fandom. Are there any more sites with any H&McC fic on them? I'll be even more forward than Owl. Here's the deal, we're trying to get Brian Keith a long-overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's a moderately frivolous thing about which we are pretty serious. Cheri, Owl, and I wrote ten stories, and nine first-season episode epilogues and put them in CD format. There's angst, humor, owies, more angst, and a couple of 'What Will We Do to Mark?' moments. Oh, and a smattering of screen caps. We're asking for donations to The Cause. It's cheaper than a 'zine and we're three authors who, altogether, have written about 100 stories up on ffnet. These 19 pieces will be exclusive to S.T.A.R. donors for six months. So, you get a nice portable format (print them out if you like the feel of pages), a big chunk of fics, and a chance to do something nice to remember a great guy. Want to know more? Just ask. Or go to: www.starforbrian.com/Fundraising.html and scroll down. And we're covering the cost of copying and mailing, so every penny of each donation goes to the star fund.

You simply MUST get this CD, the stories are fantastic! Nice, long, involved stories that will make all the heat go away for a while.
