To tell you the truth, I was a little bitty kid back in the 80's. Most of those shows came on before I was alive, when I was an infant, or when I was still unable to tie my own shoes.
Those 80's shows I basically started watching on syndication in college. I started watching reruns of 'Quantum Leap' on the Sci-Fi channel 10 years ago. 'MacGyver' I started watching 5 years ago on WGN remembering it from when I was little. 'Knight Rider' I began watching 4 years ago on the Sci-Fi channel after I one day found it and also remembered it from when I was little. 'Highway to Heaven' I watched every once in a while 2 years ago after finding it on TV Land. I only have Season 1 of that on DVD and do not care to see all the episodes. The other three I mentioned I do have all seasons for on DVD and have seen all the episodes to.
'Airwolf', 'Hardcastle & McCormick', and 'Greatest American Hero' I did not even watch until I bought the seasons on DVD. I did see episodes of AW and H&M when I was really little, but that was so long ago I do not count those. I could not remember any episodes and had no idea what the shows were actually about.
I did see lots of episodes of 'A-Team' on TV Land back in 2000. But that is a while back and I would have to rewatch them to refresh myself on what actually happened. I have Season 1- 5 on DVD for it, but haven't gotten around to actually watching episodes. 'Magnum P.I.' I started watching on the Hallmark channel 3 years ago. I never saw an episode of it until then. I did buy Season 1-6 of it on DVD and plan to get the last two as well.
Most of those shows are basically ones I collected on DVD. I didn't really watch any of them when they were actually on. As already mentioned, I saw some episodes of them when I was little. But I got older throughout time and forgot what actually happened. I am too young to be familiar with things 15-20 (or even more) years back. I was not even alive in the 60's and 70's.
