JUST A REMINDER....6 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS.... To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS THEN GO TO: www.donotcall.gov

This panic began a few years ago when discussions began about including wireless numbers in a 411 database. The idea was to offer this as a service to customers, though, clearly, that's not the way it was perceived. And, it has always been made clear that inclusion in the database would not only be voluntary, but would actually require action on the customers' part; they would literally have to request to be included. Because so many customers seemed to oppose the idea, my particular company decided very quickly not to participate; since the initial idea, several others have also made the same decision. Here's how weird we are. We have a cell phone, but we keep it turned off, in the car, and use it only for emergencies. It's a cute little thing, though, and one of these days maybe we'll figure out how to use it to take pictures.
Imagine, taking photos with a phone! I feel like an elderly aunt from Arkansas.
