He was on yesterday and today.
He's the Judge presiding over spencer truman's murder case.
DHK was only in it a few scenes at a time. It was to me more of a cameo appearance.
I'm still trying to figure what a great actor like him is doing on a lame soap like oltl.
Of course he's aged a bit, but is aging nicely. May be put on a little weight, but it suits him.

I was talking to a friend who said that DHK was on todays episode of "One Life to Live" does anyone watch? Is there any way to watch old episodes? Liz said, on the other board: 'SoapNet will replay the Wednesday episode on Sunday at 9 a.m. EST.' He was also on a little while back (pre-trial hearings? arraignment? something like that.) And that's him on her icon right now. I think he looks great. I don't get soapnet, and I don't even know when One Life To Live is on. As to the 'why?', maybe he's giving his old fans a lark--he got his start in the soaps. I've never followed any (oh, except for the wacky 'Dark Shadows' back in my childhood. Vampire angst!) but my impression is it must take a pretty good work ethic to have a major recurring role in one: Know your lines, one take, get it done, move along to the next bit. I can't imagine anyone standing there looking for their motivation.

And am I the only one who thinks it's spoooky how the 'ads by Google', at the bottom here, target the content of the page? Those darn bots know we're talking about soap operas in this thread, and they are standing by, ready to sell us soap opera related products.
No wonder they could afford to fork over $1.65 billion for YouTube.

It's nice to know DHK is still working. At least he's not doing infomercials for "Video Professor" like Jeff Conaway (Taxi, Grease). Remember that one?!
The Google bots are pretty stupid...I was on a M*A*S*H*-related board, and all the ads were for homes for sale in the town of Winchester.

Well, it's clearly based on key words and phrases, but I would think the town of Winchester would be a pretty low-specific use of that word, so why would they subscribe to the service? And you're right, when it misfires, it looks stupid. But what amazes me is the speed of the whole thing.
I wonder what it would do with, um, kangaroos.
Oh, and whoever Spencer Truman is, did he actually kill the cop?

There's SoapNet which always replays most of the soaps. I tried to find this soap on download, without success.

If anyone wants to know, it appears the trial for Spencer Truman has started and DHK is still the judge in the case. It appears to be ongoing and looks like our Hardcastle Protege will be sticking around for a while.

i think it would be funny if he made some H&M reference like say
"huntem hear em and hangem" or "i'd like to see the prisoner in my chambers, RIGHT NOW"

He had on a great looking tie today....11/21/06.....couldn't see much more than his robe...but he's looking pretty good.....he needs a NEW SERIES of his own....I'm thinking we should send a petition to various producers!

I totally agree.
I just can't accept DHK being a guest star on some lame show. He needs to get going again.
I have been keeping of his track record, but it seems like he's in a series every 5 yrs, and the last time was 2001, so it's now time.
C'mon Danny, we need to see more of ya!!!

Though it might be a bit of a lifestyle choice. He lives in Florida, not NY, or CA, which suggests that the series grind may no longer appeal--a couple of trips up the coast every year to do some guest starring and keep the hand in, and then back to FL, to make a little indy film and do some fishing. Sounds nice. There has to be some sort of reward for having been in that many series.

Yeah, but he could just do like a reality show from his house....hec, we'd all watch it...and reality is HUGE right now anyway.....I'm thinking like 24/7/365 with Danny....what a great show would that be. Hec, give him his own cable channel....I'd upgrade to digital for that one!

I thought he looked rather bored on the stand.
I get the feeling his cameos are making him a lot of chaching money, otherwise, they would probably give him more to do.
I did enjoy his one line when he's waiting for Spencer's lawyer, and he had this ticked-off look on his face. Priceless!!!

Judges look bored a lot in trials. They're supposed to look serious and intent, but there's a lot of boring, tedious stuff they have to do, too. Maybe he was just "in character"! And by the way, have any of you caught a look at his feet? Is it too much to hope he's wearing scruffy old tennis shoes?
