What always amazed me in those movies was how nicely the upper class cowboy lived. No adobe shacks, no candles, no clay mugs -- no sir; check out the silver tea set especially.

If I remember this one right, they were the family that owned almost all of the county, or somesuch, BK was the son and Glenn Ford was the guy who sort of wanted to sell out, but decided not to on general principle.
Oh, man, I just checked. Would you believe this movie is fifty years old? Ack. I'm depressed.

Yup, for sure. They gave him that 'Going huntin' for whales' beard in She Ain't Deep. This is much better. Did we ever figure out what it''s from?
