Book Announcement! No, it's not the one you've been waiting for. The publisher has now informed us that the book won't be released until March 15. Don't ask why, because we don't understand the delay ourselves. I can tell you, though, that it will be approximately 6 by 9, black and white except for the cover and the back, lots and lots of photos, and will cost $34.95. It will be available on Amazon a couple of weeks after it's released, or you can order it directly from: bearmanormedia.bizland.com/id340.htmlYou'll see an email on that page, and you can certainly direct any questions or comments (like please get it out sooner!) to Ben Ohmart, the publisher. That's really about all we can tell you at this point, except sorry about the wait! OK, so can I mail my copy to you and have it signed??? I promise to pay shipping!!! ;D

Here you go! bearmanormedia.bizland.com/You can pre-order the book right there, but I must tell you all that is not the cover it will have. We're still tinkering with the front and back, but it's still due out on March 15. One thing I can promise is that it's terrific !

Yay! The book has now gone to the printer and should start to ship in about two weeks. Thanks to all of you for being patient. We really did get it done as quickly as we could and it _is_ worth the wait.

The books have been printed and are sitting at the printer's distribution center to be mailed out next week, hopefully Monday. We're checking on whether they'll go media mail or some other way and will leave an update when we hear.

I just got my copy today, and all I can say is "WOW"!!! This has to be THE most detailed and comprehensive companion/viewer's guide for any type of fandom I have ever seen in my entire life! Absolutely NO stones are left unturned, and I found myself unable to put it down. I can't tell you what I like best about it, because there is so much...trivia, quotes, ratings, bios, episode guides, behind-the-scenes info, and the list goes on. This book was extremely well written, and it flows nicely. It makes for a good read, not like some other show guides which are mere encyclopedias. Kudos to Deb, Cheri, & Lynn, and THANK YOU for this wonderful gift to the world of H&M fandom. If you haven't purchased a copy yet, you must. One question still remains....where did they film "The Career Breaker"? I know Canary Creek is a fictional town, but this has been gnawing at me for 20 some odd years.

Hm. Canary Creek, huh? Truth is, I don't think we know that! Hey, maybe we'll put that on the list for things to include in the 2nd edition. Seriously, though, just wanted to thank you for such a glowing recommendation. I know that we are all thrilled you're pleased with the final result.

We have to apologize for a delay in shipping. It seems the publisher thought he had to suspend orders while the error on the Amazon listing was corrected. Not so, and we're glad that the orders will start to flow out again next week. Sorry about that, but remember -- we still don't even have our author copies yet, so we're in the same boat!

In the last several years a few books have been released about some of my tv favorites. With most of those titles I have been very disappointed, in some cases the book was nothing but a rehash of 20 year old magazine articles and tv interviews, and in one case I highly doubt if the author even WATCHED the series he was writing about since the work was riddled with so much misinformation and errors. If I was a fan of a show in the 80's I collected EVERYTHING about the series. I don't need a rehash of old written material between a new cover. I'm happy to say the new book covering Hardcastle and McCormick is NOT like that! The authors have painstakenly covered ground over the entire show with an episode guide, cast and crew info and more. Thats not to mention a GREAT chapter on the Coyote for you car buffs. Its obvious the authors love the show, and that can be seen in the writing. So if you are a fan of Hardcastle and McCormick pick it up! If you know someone who is a fan, grab a copy for them as a present. Follow the link below: bearmanormedia.bizland.com/id340.html

Thank you, thank you! I'm so glad you've gotten your copy (mine's due this afternoon!) and liked it. Please, anyone out there, post any questions you may have about the book and we'll be happy to try to answer them. Also, if you feel like doing us a favor, leave a review like the one above at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. (You can even just copy and paste anything you're written here.)
It was truly a labor of love and it's very exciting to know that people are starting to read it. All of us hope you get hours of enjoyment and a few major revelations from it -- like who Danny Kelly replaced as McCormick!
Thanks again, so glad it arrived!

Yes, thank you so much for the glowing review. We are more pleased than you could possibly know that the books are finally getting where they belong and that you guys are enjoying it. We really do love this show, and putting this thing together was a joy.
Thanks again.

Will it be avaliable at Chapters? I don't order on line much and would like to be able to get it at my local Chapters. Gina
