That's certainly looks like the real decal. If you want, you can email me off-line and tell me who you bought it from. We traced just about every single Coyote ever made for the book.

Yep, we did. We also talked to the Sciortinos, we talked to Mike Fennell. We talked to Bob Quast and Brian Bell who both own Coyotes currently. David Dines was a great help, and so was Scott Velvet who'd put a jump car up on EBay. All of this is detailed in Chapter Six -- "The Other Star of the Show".
And sorry, meant hood ornament, not decal.

i had talked to david back when he had both cars..and i sent him a pic of the jump car i had before he restored it..and scott ended up trading the jump car to the volo musem (still for sale).but the 1 season cars are the ones i like to know more about.. i know jay had more than one..he took one(chase car) and made a taz car out of it. it was on ebay for 2,500 about a month ago. but he had others the delorean(limo guy) and another manta base car..it may have been a car he built for touring or parts from the chase car...im not sure . but im just glad i got mine..the coyote is one of my favorite cars in the world...and also there was a set of headlight cover molds inside the car. i am going to try and get a few sets pulled ... love the board www.rustystvandmoviecars.com
