Hi there, brand new to the forum and cant wait to start asking you H&M experts some questions about the show. But my first one will be about the USA release of season one. As soon as i saw season one was available from AMAZON in CANADA, i ordered it ASAP. But the playback of the discs really ruins the show for me, as they stutter for want of a better word. So after a few questions on forums, im told its down to a really poor conversion by the release company , by the way all my other many region one discs play perfectly on my dvd player. So the BIG QUESTION is, Will the USA release of season one going to have the same problem or will once again i be able to enjoy the show again..............and so i can get on a buy all seasons ASAP...

Sounds like to me you have a defective set, I'd send it back. I have the set and it plays perfect, just like any other disc set.

Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem with any of the seasons. Try emailing VEI from their website --http://www.visualentertainment.tv/; you might get some info about the re-release which I believe is scheduled for this fall.

Try the discs on a different player. If your player is an older one, it may just simply have issues with how the discs are authored.
If they still play screwy on other players, then exchange. 15 defective discs is VERY unlikely though.
