If you feel like taking a look at Joe Santos' acting credits on IMDB, notice all the times he's played a cop! It's like the guy was a policeman in another life or something!

I always loved the Rockford Files. Maybe it's why I always loved Frank as well. He also was in a great ep of MacGyver playing a hitman who testified against the mob and was in witness protection.

And let's not forget his role as Lt Page in the last season of Magnum, P.I!! Well, heck, I don't remember that at all, and I thought I was watching Magnum right up til the bitter end.

I think with Joe Santos, he's often just so right, wherever they put him, that he just becomes the character, and you stop thinking about the actor.
Anybody wanna post some 'Frank' screen caps? I really need to learn how to do that.

Aww, how'd ya know I wanted the hair ruffle? You related to Millie, or what? Many thanks. We don't need no new-fangled digitalized Frank, not us, this'll do just fine.

And I will say forever that that doesn't sound anything at all like what I think Claudia should sound like. (But, please, no one do anything logical like ask me what she should sound like, or how in God's name I formed any opinion on that at all.)

Oh, I totally agree. I've always thought she should sound:
a) tired, b) patient, and c) soft-spoken.
But _not_ a drawling Jersey accent and not so . . . well, long-suffering, I guess.

Well, I might think she sounded fairly long-suffering. I mean, after all, she was married to Frank. I figure she put up with a lot.

Wasn't it Gilbert and Sullivan who said "A policeman's lot is not a happy one"? Claudia should just be glad Gull's Way doesn't have termites and the Terrible Twosome aren't staying at her place for the week-end!

And who knows what G&S might've said about a modern day Lone Ranger and his faithful, if sometimes reluctant, sidekick?
And, does that mean you're working on Frank's stayover?
