Having troubler placing links at the mo but you may be interested to know that the short lived ITC series 'The Zoo Gang' which starred Brian Keith as an ex WW2 resistance fighter is due a Region Two DVD release in mid June here in the U.K.
The series was made in the early seventies. Only six episodes were ever made so the show is a very minor cult. I've seen the show before and if you have a multi regional player the DVDs would be worth the investment!!

Thanks for the heads up! I actually purchased 2 DVD from the UK. Since I have AnyDVD www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html, I am able to view them on my computer. If you have DVD burning software in addition to a decryper, you can burn a backup Region 1 disc too. I recommend HMV in the UK. They ship to the US. I never had a problem with delivery. www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/home.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1

You may be interested in this press release for the U.K Region 2 DVD release of The Zoo Gang, starring Brian Keith, is due for release tomorrow. This press release was copied from The Mausoleum Club site (I hope they don't mind).
Press Release:
The war might be over, but the memories still linger in THE ZOO GANG – THE COMPLETE SERIES (PG). Network will release this series for the first time on DVD on 2nd July 2007. Based on Paul Gallico’s best-selling novel, the author also added his talents in co-writing part of the screen adaptation of this gripping show with the title theme composed by prominent musicians Paul and Linda McCartney.
The quality of the written material attracted a gifted cast to THE ZOO GANG – THE COMPLETE SERIES (PG) to take on the roles of the heroes pulled out of retirement to fight again in a brand new world. Legendary actor John Mills (Ryan’s Daughter) was Devon, a former Commando officer with the shop in Nice; Brian Keith (Rough Riders) plays Halliday, former OSS Agent and now an executive in New York; Roget, a fighter, whose husband was killed by the Gestapo was brought to life by Lilli Palmer (Peter the Great) and completing the group was Barry Morse (The Fugitive) as Marlowe, a Lieutenant in the RCAF and now running an auto repair shop in Vancouver.
Thirty years after the war, four veterans of the French Resistance re-convene to capture and track down the man who betrayed them, putting their reward towards the building of a children’s hospital. However the hospital is still in dire need, so these brave fighters find themselves again facing adventure, danger and excitement as perilous as anything they faced during the war. Named after codenames used during their time in the Resistance – Stephen ‘The Fox’ Halliday, Tommy ‘The Elephant’ Devon, Manouche ‘The Leopard’ Roget and Alec ‘The Tiger’ Marlowe all join forces to become The Zoo Gang, using their wits and ingenuity to wage a new war, this time against crime. Coupled with excellent direction from the proficient Sydney Hayers and John Hough, this action packed series proved that age is no barrier to crime fighting ability.
Special features [] series introduction by Barry Morse [] Audio Commentaries on Mindless Murder and The Counterfeit Trap with director John Hough and Camera Operator Douglas O’Neons [] episode trailers [] episodic and PR image galleries [] commemorative booklet [] commercial break bumper

Actually both, the DVDs and the shipping costs are cheaper, when you order from Amazon.co.uk. But I don't know how reliable their delivery to the US is compared to the one from HMV. Just thought it is worth mentioning Angela

Only just found out this sad news. Barry Morse (of the Fugitive fame) the last surviving member of The Zoo Gang, passed away a few days ago. The last piece of work he did was a small intro to one or two of the episodes on the DVD set. RIP Barry.
Did anyone else import this set from the U.K? I presume not seeing as this thread has been so quiet for such a long time. Essential for any BK fans..........

Hi Folks,
A couple of weeks ago I made the same offer over at the GullsWay board ... As you might be aware, this DVD set has only been released with region code 2; and not everybody outside Europe has a multi-region DVD player. So, if anybody is interested, send me a personal message, and I will burn you a set of region code free copies.
Cheers, Angela
