Here's the scoop straight from the distributor!!
VEI will be releasing Seasons 2 & 3 in the future... no need to hound Cannell, as we have the Canadian DVD rights for the next 5 years.
You will be able to order more copies of Season One very soon from amazon.ca - we just sent them more.
They're going to give us the other seasons!! Where's that champagne!! ;D ;D ;D

(Though, honestly, give me a nice Sonic Coke, and put me in front of the DVDs, and I can have quite the party.)

I can't wait to see Seasons 2 & 3!

Here's the ultimate in delayed gratification. Mine arrived in yesterday afternoon's mail, right before I had to leave for work. S'okay, though, because I have today off!

Wouldn't it be great if Season 2 was released say early this summer and season 3 released september/october time for the christmas market? That way the entire show would be released within the year, thus cashing in on the success of the first season?!
BTW That was a non too subtle hint for VEI Canada just in case they visit the site at all!!!

If, as they said, they have a five-year deal on the whole shebang, I'm betting we'll see those other two sets sooner rather than later. They might have wanted to test the market with the first set, and maybe not tax the production end too much, but now they should realize they've found a profitable niche.
I'm also making another prediction: the prices of sets two and three will be higher. This first set was priced remarkably low.

Heck, they just raised the price of this season. I guess it didn't take them long to figure out they were missing an opportunity.

But I;ll be glad to pay that much if they'll just give me the other two seasons, and maybe even a souped-up collector's edition with some extras (you know--the interview with the Coyote, and all that jazz ;-)

Okay, here's the latest I've heard -- Season Two will be issued in mid- to late-spring and Season Three in the fall. And I really don't care _what_ they cost!

Who was it who speculated the entire series might be out before year's end? Looks like we might have yet one more Millie relation, whoever it was. Oh, and while I am somewhat hesitant to say this in such a public forum where TPTB might just happen to drop in, I am also very unconcerned with the cost. I feel quite certain that there is a price I wouldn't pay, but I honestly don't know what it is. But I do know it's higher than any rational person would ever consider. There's probably some sort of problem with that; I probably need some sort of counseling, or something, but what the heck. Life is short, so bring on the DVDs!

Well, I hate to say this, but, like Millie, my prognostications usually only come true when they're dire. But, like you, I'll put up the big bucks for II and III.

VEI has done such an incredible job with these, I wonder if we could get them to do just a tad more. I know there are people who have the annual blooper tapes from each of the three seasons. Is there any way we could convince VEI to get Cannell's permission to add them to Season Three? (Assuming, of course, that _he_ still has his copies.)
What do you think? Is it even worth getting in touch with VEI about it? Man, I'd love to see those!
