Oh, that's absolutely gorgeous. Have I told you the little fourth of July story? (I know some of you have already heard it; sorry.) Seems the Keiths used to live in a Nice Area, where the folks were expected to keep their properties looking good -- no individual decorations, no personality expressed in the landscaping. But Brian Keith, every July 4th, hung a flag on the mailbox. The flag got bigger and bigger every year, until he hung it over the garage door, which it covered. Nobody said a word, because that "was just _so_ Brian". So, this picture is just _so_ perfect!

I can assume that this was when he was living in Southern California, and not New Jersey, right? Because here in New Jersey, pink flamingos and plastic palm trees are the norm. ;D

And what's wrong with pink flamingos? ;D See, this is why they'll never let me into California.
And I like the pic and the story.

I live in Florida and I desperately want pink flamingos in the yard. Haven't convinced my parents as yet. Actually there is this lighted alligator that would be perfect over the sewage chomper...
When I was living in Georgia and working at the phone company, my boss would always give me flamingo things when she's travel...pens, notepads, that kind of stuff.

Very nice--both of them. I am hard-pressed to pick a favorite.

Whoa, I noticed the ad banner at the bottom of M&M art page was, at least temporarily, dominated by flamingo-related ads. Those Google bots are scary sometimes. Efficient, but scary.
