The STAR for Brian Committee is pleased to announce the third volume of fanfic to benefit the cause: ‘Something’s Going On In This ‘Zine’. The Society to Advance Recognition for Brian Keith was organized last year. Our goal is to nominate Mr. Keith for a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. We’ve been busy since then, spreading the word, drumming up support, and raising the necessary funds. Thanks to all of you who supported our first two fanfic fund-raising efforts (and, yes, they’re still available). This third volume consists of five stories, a Gullsway Collective novella, and ten Season Three epilogs—254 pages of fiction. Every penny of the donations goes to the STARforBrian fund. We handle shipping. To keep costs low, we use a digital format, with the zine available in both Word and Adobe formats on CD. But wait, there’s more! This edition comes with a bonus ‘zine: ‘Aftermath: the Weed Randall Story Cycle’—eleven stories written by Cheride and L.M.Lewis based on the second season episode, ‘The Birthday Present’. Five of these pieces are not available on ffnet. For more information (and sneak previews) go to: www.starforbrian.com/Fundraising.htmlThanks again for all your patience and support! Is there going to be a STAR FOR BRIAN number 4 zine? I have all three and just love them!! Hey, thanks for the nice thoughts, and putting out the good word. And, to answer your question, yes, there will be a volume four. It will be released sometime next month. (Earlier rather than later, if my cohorts have anything to do with it, but I'll 'fess up and admit to being the slowpoke among us. ) But, truly, thanks for asking; we appreciate your support more than you could know. And, btw, we're expecting the announcements of this year's star recipients just any day now, so keep thinking the good thoughts.

Proudly Announcing the Newest CDZine -- "Trio for Three Wind Instruments"!
Yes, we've been up to our old tricks and are now making available a brand-new zine to benefit the STAR for Brian Keith fund. This one contains seven new stories by Cheride, L.M. Lewis, and me (Owlcroft), plus several episode epilogues and an Alternate Universe section with five more stories that you're bound to love. All in all, it's 402 pages of adventure, excitement, humor, and fun.
The zines come on CDs, with plenty of photos to accompany the stories and are available to anyone who makes a $15 donation to the fund. The Fundraising page on starforbrian.com will walk you through it, but please do ask if you have questions at all.
Remember, the stories in "Trio for Three Wind Instruments" are available exclusively to donors to the STAR fund for at least the next six months, so order yours now and get ready to read!

The S.T.A.R. for Brian group has got another zine available on our website and it's a doozy, if I say so myself. Over 300 pages of fic, some incredible photo manips (thank you, Suzanne!), and all for a donation of $15. Where else can you get 16 new stories, and 9 new epilogues, _plus_ screen caps and a wonderful hand-drawn portrait of Brian Keith? Check it out on the fundraising page at starforbrian.com. This is our last zine, folks, and I think we saved our best for it. But you deserve the best -- thank you all for the support and encouragement! starforbrian.homestead.com/Fundraising.html

As a special birthday treat today I've watched 2 episodes and read stories from the latest CD 'zine - Mr Hardcastle goes to Hollywood. (I have been out as well!!) Anyway, thanks to all the authors for the usual high standard of wonderful stories - I love the Blackthorn saga - keep it coming. For all you people who haven't got it yet - hurry up and buy - you're missing a treat and it's all for a great cause. Many thanks to Owlcroft, LM Lewis and Cheride for all your hard work.

On behalf of the authors, thanks for the words of encouragement and support. We enjoyed producing those 'zines and that one benefited greatly from the addition of Sponge's very lovely picmanips and screencaps.
