Okay, okay. Sheesh! If you're all sure I'm not over-doing the trilogy thing, I'll do another Aggie. I had intended for her to come back to L.A. again at some point; it may as well be now. But give me a coupla weeks here!

There can never be too many Aggie stories. It's like the Aunts, there isn't such a thing.

I'm running a fic in my head. I don't necessarily have to write it...
What would happen to Mark if Milt became (temporarily - but more than three months) incapacitated? How would it affect his custody status? If Milt was, let's say, in a coma and couldn't communicate for a while, who would administrate Mark's parole arrangement? Would he just roll over to any old PO? Even though Milt doesn't "pull strings," do you think Milt ever had any contingency plan in place to safeguard Mark's unique status as Tonto? Would Mark stay at Gulls Way but report in to a PO? Would he even be allowed to? Mark was paroled into the Judge's custody because he violated his original parole. Would "the system" put him back inside until a review of his progress under Milt could be conducted? (Up steps Frank as a character reference. And, Mark gets to hear about all the letters of reference Milt has placed in his jacket for "going above and beyond" as Tonto.)
In "Mr. Hardcastle Goes to Washington," one of the reasons Milt gives for declining the nomination is because Mark would no longer be in his custody. Where would he go?
In "Do Not Go Gentle," the Judge tried to leave his money to McCormick, saying, "You're all squared away, now. You'll know what to do with it." Had Milt, heaven forbid, died, does his lack of reference to parole (other than "You're all squared away, now.") mean that Mark could spend the rest of his parole just checking in with a PO? (Of course, if you use air-date as the official H&Mc timeline, Mark's parole was up at the time Milt found out he was going to die! "Chip" aired 5/5/86. Six months prior to that was the "Gentle" airdate: 11/4/85. But, I won't delve any further into the parole timeline here. That's a whole 'nuther argument.)

Some excellent plot bunnies here as well as some serious questions. Time for someone to get to work. (Not me, I'm still working on both the ghost one and one for the next issue of Hotshoes. But someone should!!

I have appointed myself the H&McC archivist and need to find some stories that aren't in my collection. Please check your personal library and see if you can fill my request. I know that some of the slash stories are available in fanzines, but I don't really want to buy the whole zine for just one story. I will compensate you for postage and copying costs, of course. Let me know if you can help and thank you!

Karma for the Mistress of the Archives, and I think it's sad that even some of the stuff you wrote yourself is lost.

I know. All that fan stuff gone. *sniff* I hate moving companies. I guess I should be glad that I packed and took my photos (but not my autographed ones -- no Danny or Brian) and my Cannell stuff (Hunter cap, H&McC jacket) with me. I left the tapes, the stories, and the leprechaun gold from the episode behind. Stupid movers always seem to lose one box whenever we move, but it's usually some of dad's tools.

Oh no, you didn't lose all that stuff in a moving box? How awful, i'd be devastated. i'm sure you've looked, but on the off chance i find any of those on my internet rounds for fic, i'll surely link here.

Yeah, and it's amazing how fast you become a stranger to your own stories. Even a year later it's hard to remember what got written--I'd hate to have to reconstruct something from 15 or 20 years back.
Do you at least remember the rough outlines of the plots?

I notice in your list of wants a story originally published in Zine Aid - well how spooky is this - My sister and I were 2 of the original idea people behind this Zine (and the others that followed) so should at least be able to find that one again for you. I'll have a look at the rest of list and let you know if I have any of the others.

What a small world! I would love to have this zine in my collection. It's actually one that I never saw. I was mostly out of fandom during that time period, so I missed some good stuff during the very late 80s to through the 90s.

I've always found it easiest to find things when it's a "friend of a friend" had a copy and are willing to share. Yeah, I was almost in tears.

Some yes, some no. Too many years have gone by. Bad Karma was almost S&M, at a time I was trying to pander to certain readers that I should've stayed away from. I never could handle slash in this series, but was willing to try a more graphic story. I won't even mention one that was written as a joke during a get together at a friend's house that would pretty raw. It was never printed and, I believe, there are no copies still available. Thank heavens! I honestly can't remember Dreams from the Past. Not a clue. Precious and Few was a emotional one, possibly a Journal entry. Some of the titles are familiar and almost ring a bell, but not enough to try and reconstruct the stories.

So, I guess we can say we write for ourselves, because in a few years we can sit down and read our own stuff like we've never seen it before. ;-) But, seriously, titles that barely ring a bell, I know it's true. Sometimes I think I should title stories like episodes from 'Friends' ('The one with . . .')

Hello, sorry for not replying to this earlier - couldn't remember where I'd replied to it! If you want to send me a message and let me know where you need this sent - I can get it copied and sent off for you. I must admit I've not had a chance to look and see if I have anything else on this list but I will - I promise.
