Too bad they don't release it all in multi regional format, can't be that expensive for them. A question, "Castaway Cowboy" don't recall that one!! It was a Disney Flick starring James Garner and Robert Culp (Who else?) www.amazon.com/Castaway-Cowboy-Vincent-McEveety/dp/6305807671 I got a new DVD from the UK cheaper than what some Americans are selling the used VHS version for!

I just ordered Season 3 on ebay last week, I hadn't heard it was released so it was a great surprise to find it, and with a Canadian seller so I won't have to wait for it too long in the mail. I will have Riptide complete then as well as Hardcastle and McCormick. Just need season 4 and 5 of A-Team to complete that series as well. My kids love the A-Team too. They call Hardcastle & McCormick the red car show.

Can someone do me a favour? And describe what is good about Riptide to me? I love Stephen J. Cannell's shows, and I think I would love Riptide, but have never watched an episode, and how would you describe the show if you were to recommend it to someone? I was thinking of getting this show next, and just wanted to know what the show is like before buying it.

It's a show about friendship, with some private investigating mixed in. Just get it, it's a cool show! I'm going to order all Riptide-seasons from amazon.ca, along with H&M S3 and Sting Ray, once the last one is finally released!

I seen Riptide season 1 at Wal-Mart about a year ago, and kicked myself for not buying it. It was I think 32 bucks for something like 13 episodes, and I kinda thought that was a ripoff. If it's not a full season they should lower the price. But oh well. Then this Xmas I saw season 2 for like 16.88 at Wal-Mart, and I didn't pick it up. Now at the store here, which is a The Source or something, they have season 3 for like 38.99 or something. It's taunting me! haha
I should have picked em up when I had the chance. Now I don't see season 1 in stores, and not sure about season 2 either.

It looks like a good show. I plan on picking it up next. I just wanna finish off my Dukes Of Hazzard collection with Season 7, and my Hardcastle & McCormick season 3. I'm really getting into Cannell shows, so it's definitely next on my list.
So the show has some comedy to it right? just curious I love shows that have some comedy to it. Cannell is great at that kind of stuff.

There is a lot of humour in it. A little robot and a big pink helicopter. Lots of the great Cannell buddy stuff and humour. You should enjoy it.

I love this show. ;D
I am kind of bummed about the editing on the dvds. There's an ep where Dool is singing "I can't get no vacuum action". It was removed.
Also in Long distance Daddy they were running from Mean Mick and then he wasn't mentioned again. Later a man appeared on the boat dressed like a monk? Was that him?

Riptide is back on telly here, but I don't like the time. Mo-Fr after 2:00 in the morning. Well, I'm still awake around this time..but it's a stupid time for showing such good TV-Series.
