Is the S2/S3 coyote an auto or a manual?? new info

so i thought i had it figured out that the delorean coyote was an automatic based on some pics i grabbed of it...


this one shows mark driving in "you and the horse you rode in on" and you can see the huge shifter and lack of a leather boot



now here is the inside of an automatic delorean and you can see the shifter looks very similar to the pic above



but here is a pic from a site that gives info about the coyoute that clearly shows it as a manual (ok so i cant link to the pic cause its anglefire but heres the link to the whole article and you can see the pics where its a manual)

so my question is, did they have 2 coyotes? one auto and one manual? i know they had one with a flat dash that is seen during the final chase scene of "outlaw champion" which you can tell by the pop rivots around the door that it was a stunt car (sorry i dont have pics of that one on hand)

Im my opinion this is what I think they did, I think there were two Delorea Coyotes(close -up cars) one for season 2 and one for season 3. I think they both were automatics. Whenever Mark was shown shifting the Delorean Coyote they used stock footage from season 1 of the 5 speed Ferrari Gear Box or a manual shifter from another car. Also I think they used Automatics was because it would have made it easier for the stars to drive, I even believe the Delorean stunt cars were automatic.
