Yeah, I watched every single episode. The best thing they ever did was the ending of the last show. I had a bias against what's-her-name that played Dora because of the whining she did about not enough Latinas on prime time shows (she was right, but that's not how you make good impressions on The Powers That Be), but I thought DK did a great job in a comedy. 'Course, some of the HC&McC episodes were pretty comedic, too!

Here are some screen caps from "I Married Dora" (1987) Main Title: Starring: Elizabeth Pena & Daniel Hugh Kelly (and Juliette Lewis & Jason Horst) Here's an ABC Christmas promo with the cast: Final episode: "Peter" - Daniel Hugh Kelly - "It's been cancelled." "Dora" - "The flight?" "Peter" - "No, our series!" Once Danny says this, all cast members turn to the studio audience and wave goodbye. (A clever way to end the show.)

Thanks for the pictures. They were great. I don't know how I missed that show. What year was it on? It looks like right after H and Mc or at least DHK doesn't look much older than he did the last season of H and Mc. But yet Mark McCormick was still a young single guy and Peter has a daughter who looks in her early teens. What a jump huh?
Okay, who has these eps that they are willing to copy and share? He looks too yummy in these eps not to have them.

You know, the only scene I remember from this show was one where Dan was on the sofa with some woman. She making advances at him and they both kept turning the lights on and off with "the clapper". I remember laughing like hell when I saw it.

I remember laughing like hell when I saw it. This scene sounds somewhat familiar. Maybe I did see an ep or two and have blocked it from my memory for some reason. But why in the world would I do that?

The "clapper" lights offer a comical backdrop to his inability to follow through with her advances. He comes close to a kiss...but he inadvertently calls her "Dora" in the process. Ooops!

Yeah, this must be like the quintessential scene from the show, or something, because it's the only one that I have any memory of, too.

Oh, I remember a bunch of scenes -- the the running gag in the first episode, with DHK trailing his weeping wife with paper towels unravelling behind him; then trailing a weeping Dora with toilet paper unrolling behind him. And the episode about the sister-in-law which was a total waste of time. And the epilog where he and Dora take off for the beach for some skinny-dipping (I was shocked!). And who could forget that fabulous ending?
