HI All, I am a new member and a big fan of the show. I have season one and two on DVD and I am anxiously awaiting season three. I watch it in the evenings when there is nothing on tv which is alot. My older daughter age 6 really likes it too. She specially like "the guy with the curly hair" My younger daughter age 3 calls it the red car show. Better than most things on tv now. Really enjoy the screen caps here too. I'd love to have an avatar, but I am not really good with the computer stuff yet I hope to get it all figured out. thanks craftymom62

Welcome aboard, Craftymom, and pull up a chair. You're doing better than me in the computer skills fepartment; I don't even have a pic of my own. My last attempt got the plug pulled on it a week after I started using it.
And it's good to get the next generation of fans started early, eh?

Hi to everyone! I've already made some comments, but somehow, I missed this section. Just some quick words about myself: My name is Juergen, I'm 31 and I live in Germany. I think I first came across Hardcastle and McCormick when in the late 80ies (I guess it was even the first airing in Germany) and since then, I loved the show! After finally buying a DVD-Player last month, I ordered the first season from the U.S. right away. And boy, was it great to see the series again (well, the pilot and the first episode so far)! They don't make series like H&M anymore! Looking forward to spending some time on this board!

Hi. My name is Ben Masters-- I am from Fountain Inn, South Carolina. I just logged on here because I was looking for somewhere to talk about "Hardcastle and McCormick." I have also ordered the first season's worth from Amazon, and I am eagerly looking forward to it.

Hi everyone, I've finally found time to introduce myself here a bit. My name is Torino and I'm from Berlin, Germany. I discovered Hardcastle & McCormick for the first time back in 1994 when I was 9 years old. My family loved watching the show already in the 80's. But I was too young at that time. ;D So, when I was older and all other girls played with their dolls, I sat in front ot the TV with my big brother enjoying the re-runs of this cool show every afternoon. I fall in love with McCormick who became pretty fast one of my childhood heroes. But I also absolutly liked Hardcastle's character. Great guy! I haven't seen this show for a very long time. I still have few episodes of the first season and watch(ed) them over and over, but would love to get the complete series of course. I really miss such great shows on television today and prefer watching these old ones instead of most new shows. Now, I hope to have a cool time with you all here. ~Torino~

Welcome, welcome! We're glad to have you with us and I may have some good news for you (and everyone else, too). There's a chance that VEI will release third season again due to its popularity and I've heard a rumor of a boxed set. Let's hope so! Again, good to have you here; enjoy!

Thank you very much, owlcroft. Its really nice to be here. I really hope the rumor of a DVD Boxset will be true. I already have the boxset of my favorite 70's show Starsky & Hutch and would love to get a complete set of Hardcastle & McCormick as well!! But I also would like to know is it for Canada only or also for the rest of us? I think I wouldn't have problems buying it if I would live in the US, but here in Europe we don't have a release for all three seasons at all. Its also pretty expensive for me buying from the US, Canada..

It probably will be another Canada release, as there seems to be a copyright problem releasing them to this country. Obviously, the U.S. is the major market, though, so it's all just legal posturing.
Maybe somebody can remind me -- don't the VEI DVDs play region-free? If not, Torino, email me off-line and maybe I can help you out a bit.
