It looks good to me. The "guest house" hidden by the trees is actually the trailer that the property manager used to live in, which is now for sale. The little spotty things between it and the "gatehouse" that we know and love are the roses in the boxwood-surrounded garden. Under that enormous palm tree at the end of the rose garden, you can see the shaded, round roof of the gazebo/garden shed/former dovecote. It's an almost supernaturally beautiful place.

Hi Kiddo,
There are lots of pictures from the whole trip, including some from inside the Gatehouse (the only building we were allowed to enter). There is even a DVD with the videos from the ceremony and the GullsWay tour. Contact me offline, if you are interested in more ... ;D Unfortunately only fans were on the tour to GullsWay, Paradise Cove and the Beach, but it was still an incredible trip.
Cheers, Angela

cool pics... i keep looking at that pic of the back of the house expecting to see a blue '64 vette convertible come crashing through the garage door, lol
i was SOOOOO close to gulls way in the summer of 2006...my sister was living in LA and i flew out there to visit her. i wanted to see it but didn't know the address... we actually got VERY close... lets just say i've eaten at the paradise cove restaurant.. they have a really good sampler platter with shrimp, ribs, chicken(i think? i dont remember 100%) and some really good homemade potato chips... all served on a pretty cool looking square plate.
i doubt we would have seen much of the estate anyway though... how much can you really see from the PCH?

Were the interior shots actually made at the estate or did they film them at a studio somewhere? I', especially curious about the livingroom/Milt's study.

There a great little story about the den in the book which I can't tell you know, but I can say that most of the interiors were filmed on a stage in Los Angeles. There was, however, one shot from the actual room in the house that we think of as the "den", but I'm not saying which! (Book publisher is being coy about a release date, but we'll let you all know as soon as we hear anything!)

These are great pictures of Gulls Way.
Do you have more pictures?
You say that you have more than 50 images?
You can upload the pictures somewhere? Thank you
Benny

Hi all,
I am from Germany and a big fan of Hardcastle and McCormic. I visited 26800 Pacific Coast Highway two weeks ago during a business travel. Of corse the main entrance was closed and I could not see very much from out side the estate. I am curios if anybody know who the current owner of the gulls way estate is. Is it still owned by Dick Clark's family?

Yes, Mr. Clark's family stills owns the property and it is administered by Pepperdine University. We're not planning any more reunions and Gull's Way tours, but it's not out of the question in a few years. We have an open invitation from the property manager, who is very nearly a saint!
