Okay, who wants to go to Gulls' Way? We've gotten permission from Dick Clark to visit next June and we can take some of you along with us! We're probably going to rent a bus or a van, visit a number of other HC&McC landmarks along the way and are thinking that $200 a person will cover it all (except for lunch, which will be up to you, but there's a good place at the "Going Nowhere Fast" cove, which is on the tour route).
Let us know now, though, if you want to be on the list. We can only take so many of you. Details will be added later, as we figure them out. Hey, we're going to Gulls' Way!!

All hail to Owl, who's been determined to make this happen. And this most excellent news leads me to renew our request for information concerning hotel needs. For those of you who might not've seen the announcement elsewhere, we've found a hotel that we think will meet our needs out in Hollywood next year, but we need to put a block of rooms on hold early to ensure everyone who's interested will be able to stay. If you're planning on attending the ceremony next year, please take a minute to fill out this short survey concerning room details: www.starforbrian.com/DaysInnSurvey.html If you haven't already filled out our earlier survey, please include your anticipated arrival date in the comments section, along with how long you plan to be staying. And, back to the news at hand, also be sure to tell us if you're going to join us on the grand tour, including the visit to Gulls Way. (but, seriously, who wouldn't?!)

Hi there.
Could you add my name to the list please? This seems a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'd love to see Gulls Way.
I'd just need to work out the logistics of it all as I'm in the U.K!!

I had to calm down after I read this post! Do you mean we can actually take a pilgrimage to the Holy Land (Gulls Way) while we are out there? I have died and gone to Heaven. All hail the mighty Owl indeed! Now, If we could just get a ride in the Coyote......

I have a question... Should I fly into LAX or John Wayne Airport in Orange, County? I'm just wondering. I'll just go with the cheaper of the two... provided it's not too long of a drive from the hotel. Any info would be great. Thanks!

The few times I've flown into the area, it's actually been cheaper than the smaller airports. And I'm out here at the ST con this week, and I've met a couple of people from the LA area, so I'll ask them about the particulars of distance and such and let you guys know.

Okay, I talked to the LA lady, and she says unless you can get a really good deal into John Wayne, you should use LAX. She says the problem with LAX is--of course--the traffic between the airport and Hollywood. But apparently, LAX lies between JW and Hollywood, so you'll not only be further away flying into the smaller airport, but you'll still have to deal with all the traffic!

If any of you guys go, would you post some pics of it?
I'd love to see some stuff like that. I wish I could afford to go to something like that. It would be a once in a lifetime opportunity as someone said.
Every time I watch the show, I am in awe of that house. Because of that show (and Dallas), my dream is to have a house with a table outside just like Milt's. It looks so nice sitting outside in the morning with coffee (even though I don't drink coffee), breakfast and the morning paper. And cracking jokes like only Mark and Milt can. It looks like a blast.

I'm buying a HUGE SD card for my camera so I can take a billion pictures while I'm out there. I'm seriously considering bringing my tripod so I can get some super shots of Gulls Way while we are there!

Oh, yes, please do! And anyone with a video camera, please bring it. We want to share as much as possible with those who can only take a "virtual" tour.
