Just so everybody knows, that seller is constantly re-listing eight copies of Season Two. Check frequently and you may be lucky enough to grab one. But, please, please go through the starforbrian site to get to EBay so we can make a few measly cents off your purchase. As an update to this particular auction for those who might not've had the chance to visit yet, the available copies were sold out hours ago. But, as Owl said earlier, the seller seems to be re-listing maybe on a weekly basis, so keep checking back. I gave up waiting for amazon.ca to put this thing up for pre-order. So today i ordered my copy off the guy on ebay that has been selling them. To anyone in the US that ordered from the ebay guy how long did it take for you to receive your set ? Just curious as to when i should expect it. Did he email you over tracking # and everything after he shipped ? thanks .. can't wait to receive it! My order was shipped on the 20th of last month and just arrived today. The seller claims it's because I'm on the West Coast, but I noticed someone in Chicago got hers about a week earlier and that doesn't make any sense to me.

Thanks for the info guys... guess it just depends where you live. Oh a quick question if you could answer i would appreciate it. Did you guys have to be home to sign for the package ? or did the post office just leave it ? I asked the seller but he wasn't sure. Thanks!
Figures the day after i order it shows up on Amazon for pre-order.
Now to decide if i want to order Riptide S1 @ Amazon.ca its up for pre-order now or wait and get the sony release in september. If i do end up waiting i can garuntee i would end up buying S2 and S3 from VEI as Sony will probably never release more than S1. They suck at follow up releases. Maybe i should just show my appreciation for VEI and Buy all 3 from them. I dunno haha

Nope. you don't have to sign for anything. As for which way to go with the "Riptide" DVDs, I can't help too much. I will say that the EBay seller isn't perfect. I ordered 4 sets on June 26, got one on July 19th and then was told the "assistant" had made a mistake and the others would be shipped immediately. They finally arrived Aug. 3, so the people I was buying for paid in 6/26 and their sets arrived 6 weeks after that. Okay, it was a mistake . . . or was it, since we still don't know how this guy gets these and how he could release them early. Anyway, whichever way you decide to go, please consider going through the starforbrian site so we can get a tiny kickback from the seller. We'd really appreciate it!

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I ordered two sets and was initially shipped only one. I contacted the seller who stated that the assistant made a mistake and my second set was shipped at once. Glad to sy that both S2 sets have safely arrived. Just finished watching 'Undercover McCormick' tonight. A great episode. |
